Working with SLJ Fitness, and Scott is the best choice I have ever made. I was tired of being overweight and not happy with my body, so I reached out to Scott to assist me in reaching my fitness goals. I have been working out with him for 2 weeks now and have already lost 4 lbs, and 4 inches in my waist! I can't wait to workout with Scott and continue on my quest for a healthier life.

Some of us are not the most motivated kids on the block when it comes to exercise—I'm one of them. I started training with Scott six months after my daughter was born—ten months after I had stopped working out completely. I had little hope I was even going to lose the remainder of my baby weight, let alone get back in shape while simultaneously retuning to work full-time in a busy travel-filled position. Thanks to Scott, I was able to meet and exceed my fitness goals. Simply put, Scott's training is varied, challenging and fun every single session. He puts time and thought into how I can gain the most benefit from each hour I train with him, and he stays on top of my hectic schedule to make sure I am making time for exercise (something a person like me needs!). He even created workouts for me to perform on the go in my hotel room. Scott is constantly looking for new and innovative ways for his clients to train, and he clearly recognizes how I like to be coached. Scott's training is worth every penny—he is the best trainer I have ever worked with and I would recommend him highly to anyone.

1-2 muscle groups/day
NO cardiorespiratory exercise during entire program
Ending weight-178lbs
BEFORE Diet:
Consumed around 3500kcal-4500kcal/day
Ate lots of eggs, breads, rice, pasta
2-3 protein shakes/day (Whey and Casein)
AFTER training program:
3 full-body workouts/week
low weight/high reps
Cardio 3-5 days/week
minimal rest between sets
Ending weight-165lbs
AFTER Diet:
Consumed around 1800kcal-2800kcal/day
Ate lots of fruits, veggies, egg whites
Had one cheat day (eat whatever)

I don't have the money to hire Jillian or Bob or Jackie Warner. So I searched locally for a very decent affordable trainer. I can highly recommend Scott Johnson of Anytime Fitness (where he trains). I've had 3 sessions now and I am loving it, aside from the pain.. lol. I can feel the benefits already. Scott does health assessments regularly by measuring and weighing me. He also checks my food journal and keeps me honest. This is THE BEST $40 a week I have ever spent. I miss my guitar lessons and some little luxuries, but will cope, EASILY for this :-) Today I committed to 3 months with Scott and I'm sure I will be renewing. I also decided today, because of the great rate he offers, to sign up for a full 24/7 gym membership ($20 a month), Just one less night at the movies a month, that's all it is.
